Hoje foi anunciada a tão esperada lista de indicados ao maior prêmio da televisão americana: o Emmy Awards 2016. Como já era de se esperar, vemos muitos nomes repetidos e poucas novidades. Quem lidera o número de indicações é Game of Thrones, a série da HBO teve nada mais do que 23 nomeações.
Dentre as novidades, temos as elogiadas séries The Americans e Mr. Robot concorrendo ao prêmio de Melhor Série Dramática. Trata-se da categoria mais importante da premiação, mas elas terão um páreo duro a enfrentar. O ator de Mr. Robot, Rami Malik, também concorre na categoria de Melhor Ator de Drama. Na categoria de Melhor Atriz de Drama, temos novamente a tão merecida indicação de Tatiana Maslany, que interpreta quase todos os personagens em Orphan Black, porém ela ainda concorre com Viola Davis (How To Get Away With Murder) e Taraji P. Henson (Empire). Será que desta vez a atriz canadense levará o tão sonhado prêmio?
Ainda nas novidades temos a primeira indicação de Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) ao prêmio, junto com seu colega Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), e na categoria feminina temos a indicação surpresa de Constance Zimmer (UnREAL). Ela também concorre com Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) e Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), que tem sua primeira indicação ao prêmio, assim como Kit Harington. Será que desta vez, com tantas indicações, Game of Thrones levará o prêmio por seus atores e atrizes coadjuvantes?
Mas se por um lado tivemos ótimas surpresas, como Mr. Robot e Maisie Williams, tivemos uma grande decepção pela não indicação de Eva Green por sua atuação na série Penny Dreadful. Era a última chance da magnífica e talentosa atriz de ser recompensada por toda a beleza de sua atuação, que sempre foi bem criticada, porém mais uma vez o Emmy desconsiderou todo o talento da atriz.
Nas outras categorias temos ainda as indicações de Black-ish (ABC) e Master of None (Netflix), American Crime Story: The People vs O.J.
