Na tarde desta quarta-feira, 03, o Sindicato de Roteiristas revelou os indicados ao Writers Guild Award (WGA), prêmio dedicado ao roteiros dos programas de TV. A revelação dos vencedores acontecerá somente no dia 21 de março. Mas antes disso, no próximo dia 16 serão apresentados os nomeados nas categorias de cinema. O o prêmio do Sindicato dos Roteiristas é um dos principais termômetros para o Oscar.

Na edição deste ano, séries como The Boys e The Mandalorian, dois sucessos recentes de 2020, aparecem entre os indicados. Com recorde de audiência na Netflix, a minissérie O Gambito da Rainha também foi nomeada ao WGA. Com 4 menções, Better Call Saul, spin-off de Breaking Bad, foi o seriado que mais recebeu nomeações.
